Wow. I can't believe it's been two months since Chelsea & Paul's Wedding. These two exude love for each other, and I so miss talking to them on a daily/weekly basis.
I'm usually friends with all my brides by the time their wedding rolls around, but Chelsea and I were friends first. We worked together once upon a time at Sea Pines Country Club. Chelsea is one of those people you can't help but love. She has a heart of gold and a will of steel. When she first started planning her wedding, I remember hearing her talk about it and stressing just a tiny bit when I offered to help.
You see, I had just started putting Legacy Event Company together at that time. Even though I've had years of experience in wedding planning on Hilton Head and in Savannah, this was my first time being the owner of a company at the same time. Chelsea trusted me enough to be my "beta tester" for all things Legacy. All of the documents, standard operating procedures, wedding day packets and timelines, design plans, and all of the other fun business stuff went through her first. Even better, she helped me find the weaknesses in my work so that I could be better.
So we did it! Chelsea & Paul's Oyster Factory Park wedding ceremony & reception was beyond beautiful. With bold colors, southern charm, and a hint of rustic romance, their wedding was a true representation of who they are as a couple and I am so blessed to be a part of this special day.
